recommend your electric/re-chargeable toothbrush

My Rotadent is on it's last legs and no longer responds much to re-charging it. Time for a new toothbrush. Is it worth it to spend a fortune on a new Rotadent or are there other less expensive options that are just as good? What do you recommend? What has your dentist recommended?

I like my Oral B rechargeable. The brush heads are easy enough to find. And it isn't sonic (I really hate sonic). My dentist and hygienist compliment me on my teeth and gums. I think the toothbrush helps to mitigate my infrequent flossing.

rechargeable sonicare. Basic model. Don't need to pay more for bells and whistles I won't use.
