Send a personalized letter laying out why the school is still your first choice. If you know anyone with STRONG connections (like a boardmember) have them write a personalized letter as well. But be aware of the fact that it is very unlikely your DC will get off the waitlist.

Yes, I know someone who was waitlisted at GDS and got in.
