My DC with HFA is currently enrolled in an early education specialized program for special needs children, which was not mandated by his IEP, but we thought was the best fit for him. While he is making great progress in this program, we are concerned about the tuition for K and moving forward (much higher). I am most concerned about class size, and think he would thrive with smaller class size. His IEP is fairly minimal and he did not qualify for the county Pre-K autism programs because of his test scores when evaluated.
Any programs that would meet his needs or your own experiences with HFA K student with a larger class size? |

I don't have any info, but we are moving into the PG school system with our HFA 8 year who doesn't have an IEP and are very concerned. I'd love to hear from other parents.
OP much luck to you and your little one. |
