| OP, my understanding is that Maret K and GDS PreK/K waitlist all applicants not admitted - we were admitted at one and W/L ed at the other. A few people told me that if the Maret W/L letter had a handwritten note, then the school was signaling interest. Of course, all this is hearsay in a town filled with folks who revel in reading tea leaves, talk about if the Vatican is blowing white or black smoke, etc. Best of luck to you and your DC. |

| Annie will tell you if there's any chance of movement. Odds are really slim because it's a tiny class that's typically made up of lots of sibs/faculty kids/alum kids etc. All people unlikely to decline... |
