Happy New Year!
I am well into my 3rd trimester and am getting nauseated and headachy a lot lately. The nausea is not nearly as bad as first trimester, but seems to linger most of the time. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions for what to do? |
Yes. Me too--35 weeks and have intermittent nausea and heartburn. It's because our digestive systems are getting cramped by the baby. For me, it's not as bad as the first trimester, where I had major nausea all the time. This comes and goes--I use ice pops, ginger ale and cold fruit or jello seem to help. Unlike first trimester, though, I don't have any hunger accompanying the nausea. Only a few more weeks of this, then it's all gone...
Good luck |
Thanks! |
Constantly! I try hard not to eat as much as I normally would because I find my stomach just doesn't have as much room (at 30 weeks). I find a near-constant stream of saltines, club soda and the occasional Tums are the closest thing to relief I can get. Good luck! |
Yup, me too. I'm 35 weeks and started feeling nauseated on and off about 2 weeks ago. Surprise! It's definitely not nearly as bad (or as predictable) as it was in the 1st tri. But not fun. Hang in there, we're almost done! |
I had weird almost hot flashes with my first where I would suddenly get extremely hot (to the point where it was hard to concentrate) and I would feel nauseous. My doctor said it was due to raging hormones! I also had the too full feeling often and just wasn't interested in eating. Hang in there! |
I get the hot flashes too, and feel like I am going to pass out. Also see stars. I have had morning sickness my entire pregnancy, always sick at some smell or food. |
Thanks to everyone. I have those hot flashes, too, and headaches. The last mile is always tough, I keep telling myself! Good luck to you all. Perhaps I'll see those of you 30 weeks plus in a new mom's group soon. |
