WCAC and IAC league champions should agree to play one extra game to determine DMV bragging rights.

I know Prep extended the olive branch last spring to SJC but it was declined…

I am sure it was. SJC would have been crushed by Prep last year.

Hypothetically you might say

STA would have beat SJC tonight with the way they played those first three quarters

Funny that you can't wait to play a team missing its best players. To me if GZ wins, that is a win with an * But hey, its still a win. You can beat SJC only when its two best players are missing. I know if I went to GZ, I'd be proud. That really is a GZ attitude. We can win when the best isnt playing

Where are all the SJC homers who have been pounding their chests about all the young talent they have? I don’t see any major blue chips in their 2026 class.

GZ wins by 4 regardless if Dunkel and Draley play - the eagles are the better team with better athletes.

Hahaha. Stop posting. You lucky they didn’t play or else it would’ve been 30-5

Meanwhile at CCC, the STA dads are wondering how to avoid another 0 - for next year.

Neutral perspective for end of season rankings:

Scenario 1: Landon wins out, SJC stumbles in conference tournaments. Landon deserves #1 in the area going on a 15 win streak and sweeping the IAC.

Scenario 2: Landon wins out, SJC wins out. SJC deserves #1 in the area after a double digit win streak and having to beat more quality teams in their tournament. Their semifinal game will be a better matchup then whatever dumpster fire bottom half IAC team Landon plays in IAC semis, and Prep and Landon ducking them shouldn't be rewarded.

Scenario 3: Landon stumbles, SJC wins out. No brainer, SJC #1.

Scenario 4: They both stumble. Oof, this becomes a real mess. Pick out of a hat between IAC and WCAC tourney winner.

SJC is currently #1 in the area. Better national win (Taft) and better local win beating Gonzaga in convincing fashion. Landon played a softer schedule and their biggest win - Highland Park, TX - stumbled down stretch. Still plenty of lacrosse to be played. SJC has advantage if they win out, but they also face stiffer competition to win WCAC title. Landon should coast to IAC crown and celebrate it. Great season for the Bears!

Prep only wants to play in June.

Landon would have a problem this year as well. 270 will be under construction soon and all their talent would not be able to get to the DMV to play with it shut down.

Taft stumbled too. That was never a good win. Other than that, Gonzaga is their only decent win. Landon also beat Gonzaga, and Prep and Bullis are decent.

St. John’s struggled to beat Dematha while Landon didn’t. No way you can say because they beat Gonzaga by more they are better.

But they have been blown out multiple times this year. That knocks them down a lot for me.
