two enclosed toilet rooms in master bathroom?

Anonymous
Would it be weird to have two enclosed "poo poo" rooms in the master bath? Our master is big enough to add another toilet room. I hate sharing a toilet with my husband. I have to go down the hall to the guest bathroom to poo or pee. Men can be so gross sometimes.

I know it would be a big expense but would this detract from resale value? Or is it just neutral. I can see prospective buyers not caring either way.

Very weird.

Agree. Strange. Either your husband is extremely disgusting or you're a bit OCD.

Is it a big house? Have seen those homes with the gigantic master bedrooms with his and her closets and bathrooms.

Negative impact.

Really weird. Negative impact on resale, not just for the creep-out factor, but because buyers will be annoyed that you wasted the space in this way. They will think, if we buy this, we have to spend money taking out one toilet and putting something else in.

1) it's weird

2) why is this the second "poo poo" post this week?

I wouldn't want to have to explain the weird bathroom to my guests. Are you okay, OP?

Would rather have a half bath at one end of a large bedroom and full at the other or such ...

I'd love it. You could always convert to a linen closet when you sold.

I saw a large master bath that had a walk in shower in the middle of the room with doors on either side. On each side of the shower were single vanities and a toilet. Each side also had a pocket door into the bedroom. So, his and her had "separate" bathrooms but a single very nice shower. It was tastefully done and I don't think it would detract from resale. Two entirely separate bathrooms: weird
