Cervical Dilation at 33 1/12 weeks

I went to my OB and told her about lots of Braxton-Hicks that I've been having, which bought me an exam. My cervix is slightly dilated -- 1 cm. Has anyone else had a dilated ervix this early that was no big deal?

Two pregnancies with lots of Braxton-Hicks and an early dilation which stabilized. With both, I made it to 38 1/2 weeks. But the first required turbutaline to calm the BH; with the second rest, hydration, and small glasses of wine towards the end did it.

You'll probably get lots more feedback but 1cm dilated is pretty minimal and you absolutely can stay that way for ages. I'm 36 weeks with lots of BH and 1cm dilated and my last OB visit included a discussion of whether I would want to be induced at 40w or 41w... obviously it may happen earlier but it very easily may not. Last time around I was 1cm for a few weeks and nothing came of it (despite my hopes!), I went full term.
