Shady Grove - how many embryos to put back? Preference is for 1 additional child.

I am considering going through ICSI again and would like to know how many embies to put back. I had a successful 2nd ICSI with 4 embies that produced 1 miracle. That was with a clinic out of state. Curious to see how many embies folks put back.

First of all... How old are you?

When I was 37 my RE at SG would only allow me to put back 2 embryos (blasts) as SG frowns upon multiples. I ended up getting pregnant with one. I guess it all depends on the quality of your embryos and what the embryologists and RE feel comfortable with transferring.

I'm 39 and doign another IVF in early Feb. My RE still says she will only transfer 2 regardless if they are day 3 or 5 day old embryos.
