For parents with new kindergarteners in Fall, when did/will your local school do tours?

Ours won't do it until April. But I heard some is doing it this week? Is it because the Bethesda parents are more likely to make a decision between public and private?

Our Gaithersburg ES does them once a month or so starting in December.

Just to clarify, this is a tour/information session for parents. The open house for kids is in early May.

Our does it's K tour in late April/early May.

Our ES did tours/meet and greets for new parents on two dates - one in late January and the other in early Feb. Next thing is K Orientation in early May.

Ours does tours every month. Kindergarten roundup for the kids is in early May.

They usually do an orientation in April/May

One school district over (have friends here):
Tours = Every month
Orientation = April
K parents night = February

One school district over the other way (most of our preschool feeds into this school):
Tours = Every month
K parents night = October or November -- sorry I can't remember the exact date but I remember getting a notice for this before the holidays

"one school district over" = Do you mean in a different cluster?

Or a different district (PG, Howard, Frederick, Montgomery)?

Sorry, I'm PP. They are all in MCPS. I meant elementary districts adjacent to our home district. We're in Potomac/Bethesda.
