Getting back to the gym after baby and need advice on shoes.
Currently I'm wearing my old running shoes (which I was fitted for 15 lbs and 3 babies ago when I took up running). I do classes (Zumba, etc.), lift free weights, and run on the treadmill/use the elliptical. Don't need running specific shoes anymore as I don't plan to run more than a few miles, tops, maybe once a week. What kind of shoes do I need and where do I get them? Feet are wide. |
| You still need running shoes. Running shoes are built to correct pronation issues which will save you a lot of pain and injury woes down the line. Go to a specialty running store and get fit. "Cross trainers" are the biggest waste of money. |
| I agree you should go to a running store - or at least a solid shoe store (not Sports Authority, Dicks, etc.) and request a fitting for shoes. No fee for the fitting. |
