Do people in other countries wear as much fur as we do?

When I lived in northern Italy 20 years ago many women, especially middle aged and older, wore fur coats. They weren't special occasion coats; I saw them all times of day, on people riding bikes, etc.
I don't think of Americans as being big fur wearers. |

I see a lot of AA women wearing fur coats, but I don't see a lot of women of other races wearing fun coats.

If you travel to Sweden and that area, and Ukraine and that area - there are TONS of fur coats of all kinds.
