Recommend bath towels

Please recommend your favorite great feeling and sturdy bath towel. Preferably that comes in bath sheet size. I had the Elizabeth Arden Bath sheets from Bed bath and Beyond and they faded and completely unraveled on the sides in less than two years. Or is that about the normal life span of a bath towel? I don't even really care about the cost, I just want some really good towels!
Thanks

I don't think I've ever seen towels better than those by Macy's hotel collection. We have their Turkish bath towels. There are the more expensive finest luxury collection towels and the less expensive micro cotton towels. All three are excellent. However I get the Turkish towels in white only because the products I use on my face end up bleaching the colored towels. Restoration Hardware's towels are really good too but I like Macys more.

Restoration Hardware 802 gram Turkish towels - LOVE these. Sign up online for the emails and wait for the bathroom sale of about 20% off.

I second the Restoration Hardware 802 towels. The best towel on the market - soft, sturdy, and last for years.

Both restoration hardware and macys hotel collection towels are good and both are listed in several magazines as being the best towels

My favorite one is the 1888 Mills towel. It is 30x58 and is very durable because of the way the cotton is spun on it.

That's the same one from 2/21 post.

We've had our Garnet hill towels for about six years. So far they've held up well and they have great colors.

I would recommend the 1888 Mills Towel, which is reviewed on this site.

Don't get Pottery barn towels, at least the newer ones. I loved my old ones so I replaced 30 or so towels and maybe 80% fell apart after a first or second wash. PB would not replace them within the first week and then 30 days later claimed they could refund my money. Except it was too late....past the return period.

After thread after thread on this topic, I really want to get Costco and RH towels and do a comparison.
