Spotting on day 9 after day 3 ivf transfer?

I'm in my first ivf cycle and have just noticed a small amount of reddish/brown spotting, along with a smaller amount of reddish clotty bleeding. Its all VERY little, hardly noticeable on a pad, but there. The clumpy portion is what really concerns me. This isn't too far off what I have before my period, but with all of the progesterone I'm taking and the fact that I'm only 12 dpo, it seems unlikely. I pray its not that at least.

Has anyone had anything similar?

Yeah, it feels late for that and its now getting heavier so I'm concerned its my period. I'll be calling the doc as soon as they open to see what to do.

OP here again.....No change this morning, but I did go ahead and take a pregnancy test, which came back positive. Its really too soon, to get excited, since my 3 day transfer was just 10 days ago, but I'm still hopeful. They told me to stay off my feet and wait it out unless things get worse.

If anyone else has experienced this, I'd love to hear! Thanks.

I am really hoping its a BFP!! I always got nervous because there's that time in between that you can test positive due to the HCG trigger shot, but 10 days seems like it might be long enough that it is out of your system...When I finally did get my BFP, I bled like a period though too...

I think I had early bleeding with all 3 IVF cycles that were successful - at least 2 of the 3. I too was told to stay of my feet for about 3 days.

I was going to say that bleeding is very common in IVF pregnancies and I was hopeful for you. But now you got a bfp, I feel even more hopeful. Let us know what your beta looks like! Maybe they'll let you come in earlier?
