It seems as if the Relationships (non-explicit) Forum contains more and more posts about explicit sexual matters. The posters will sometimes state that outright they don't want to post in Explicit because they don't like the regulars or they want more thoughtful feedback or perhaps they just posted by accident -- whatever -- but at any rate Relationships is becoming pretty mixed now with sexual topics. I have responded to a couple of questions, but I'm wondering what the policy is here.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Because we use Google's ad service, we are beholden to Google's policies regarding adult content. That policy basically maintains that the content should be family friendly. In addition, many of our users access the forums from work and may violate policies at their work place by accessing adult content.

The problem is that it is very hard to strictly define what is "adult content" and what is "family friendly". Even Google -- which has worked hard to improve its own definitions of the terms -- has only very vague guidelines.

I took a quick look at the non-explicit forum and didn't immediately see any threads that clearly crossed the line to explicit. There were a couple that were close to the line and I'm still pondering whether one thread should be moved, but I may have missed the threads to which you refer.

If you come across threads that you believe are explicit, please use the "report" button to alert me to the post.
