Caramel Corn Puffs Are Amazing

Anonymous
I just had caramel corn puffs for the first time today, and I think that they are one of the most delicious things ever

Wow.

This is what they look like:

OP here:

Have you ever had them before?

If so, how much did you like them?

Are you saying you baked them yourself in that pan? Or had them somewhere? Hot? Or room temperature like Cracker Jack?

I have corn puffs once a year on the drive to Ocean City in August in a little dive-y restaurant in Cambridge. They are truly the best thing I have ever had, and I crave them all year. But they aren't caramel.

Looks like that old cereal, Sugar Pops.

OP, did you make them or buy them? If you bought them, where?

My neighbor made a big bag of this for us for Halloween. From what she told me it's just plain Pirate's Booty with caramel poured over top. It IS delicious.

Agree, they are amazing. My FIL bought two huge bags over the holidays and we destroyed them.

Can SOMEONE please tell us WHERE to buy this product?????

I wish I could remember pp, I can't remember the brand we got. I think my FIL bought the first kind at a random outdoor supply store, and then the next batch online, but I have no additional info-I will ask and come back.

PP again. Looks like a pan of worms. I find it hard to believe posters are clamoring for more info.

If you're ever in the Midwest, potato chip company Old Dutch makes them, so they're available in gas stations, grocery stores, etc.
