Ads I am not clicking on

Lately when I've been on this site, I get extra tabs opening with what appear to be ads I have not clicked on, like a hardwood floor company. I never click on the ads. What gives, any idea?

I get hardwood floor ads fairly frequently, but haven't seen any extra tabs resulting from them. They might not be the same ads, though. Can you provide as much information about the ads as possible? Especially, can you post the link of one of the tabs?

Some time ago, a user reported something similar to this and it turned out to be adware that was installed on the user's computer. It looks like you are using Linux, which doesn't commonly get malware. But, it's also unusual for users on DCUM to use Linux, so it's possible something strange is happening for Linux users. The more information you can provide, the better I can help troubleshoot. Regardless, what you are describing should not be happening.
