3rd grade at Sligo Creek ES

We have found a home to rent in SS that is zoned to Sligo Creek ES. DS will be in 3rd grade in the Academy program. Can current parents speak to the strengths/challenges they have faced? Do many kids go on the G&t in 4th grade or are parents happy to have their children continue through 5th grade.
