I need a good, easy pretzel recipe for a bunch of 3rd graders.
Does anyone have one? |

I'm sorry, I personally think "good" and "easy" are not both possible with pretzels.
If you search for "30 minute pretzel" or "no boil pretzel," several of the first few results will include recipes that will probably taste fine when freshly baked. If you want a "good" pretzel recipe, you probably need to add a boil step and definitely need to add a baking soda step (or, better yet, lye, which would certainly make it an inappropriate project for third graders). |
| OK, thanks! I just need something that little girls can make that won't taste bad! |
| I think right out of the oven, pretty much any bread recipe shaped into pretzels will taste pretty good. When in doubt, brush them with melted butter and salt. |

Thanks!
We tried it with the boiling water and baking soda; it wasn't too hard at all, and made for a much nicer pretzel! |
