Imago weekend workshop for couples?

We are considering doing one of these. For various reasons, a weekend thing is preferable to ongoing counseling, for us.

Has anyone done one? Thoughts?

Can anyone recommend a specific therapist who does them? The Imago website lists several people locally (David/Donna Bowman, Kathy Sirota, Theresa Hunt, Jette Simon...) Wondering if anyone has experience with anyone in particular.

DH and I did imago counselling with David Bowman for a few years a while back. I recommend him highly. He is fantastic.

He now does weekend workshops in his home. I've never done them because of cost and the fact that we don't have anyone to watch our kids for the whole weekend. If that ever changes I'd do it in a heartbeat! Even though things are fine with me and my husband right now, I feel like the counselling we did was most effective when we were NOT in "crisis" mode. It gave us such a resiliency to get through some really tough times.

(I've never met his wife, with whom he also does the workshops.)

I've never know anyone who could so actively and deeply LISTEN the way he does. His ability to connect and to make whoever he's with feel entirely at ease is amazing.
