Do you know the range of fee for a fee only? We have a financial advisor but I don't think we use him enough to merit the annual fee he's charging us.

Bump! We are searching as well. Looking for a per-visit fee, NOT an annual retainer. We previously used Blue Sail Advisors and it was not for us - our finances are relatively simple and we just need to keep our house in order and save appropriately for college and retirement .... he was charging close to 5K per year. In retrospect, this was really not worth it for what we needed.

Thanks - does she require an annual retainer or will she do tune-up/fee per visit meetings?
