Hebrew on Joe's Jeans?

Anonymous
Any good readers out there? I think that there's a "C" and an "N" but no clue what it might say. I've googled and googled but surprisingly coming up short. Not an urgent matter, but it just bothers me that I don't know what's written on my tush (maybe it says "sucker! you overpaid for your jeans!")

The insignia? Or something else?

It's on the back pocket of every pair. Also on the little metal rivets. Cane and nun I think. Anyone speak Hebrew??

I know what you're talking about, but honestly, I never imagined it was anything other than just a logo.

It's not Hebrew. It's a stylized J D for the designer's name, which escapes me now.

Interesting... I had also noticed that the logo looked vaguely Hebraic and wondered why.

definately thinking it was hebrew

I think the designer is Israeli, so perhaps he was reflecting his heritage by making it look like Hebrew

come on folks. look at the inside label. It is definitely hebrew. It is the letters "gimmel" and "nun". Although there isn't formally a soft "g" sound in hebrew (like a "j"), it is clearly meant to be pronounced "jean" ("jehn"). Ask anyone whose name starts with a "j". Israelis use a "soft gimmel" to make the "jeh" sound.

i think it says ken, meaning yes.
