Valium hangover?

Do you normally have a hangover feeling the day after taking a valium? Really tired feeling, headache that goes away about midday. I'm trying to figure out if this is from the valium or from my underlying illness.

I took valium before bedtime after a recent surgery and found that it didn't seem to affect me at all for a while after ingestion, but I felt very sluggish in the mornings.

I need a Valium and a 14 hr sleep. Ummmm. Maybe some mimosas and chip/dip.

Any "Pam" drug probably will give you a hangover. It's not meant to be a sleep drug. Get CBT and learn to shut your mind off at nite. Worked best for me I got sick of being sluggish all morning.

xanax does this to me.

I took a very low dose of Valium for a few days and it left me feeling groggy and slowed down. I felt so much better when I stopped.
