Just out of curiosity (not my situation). Imagine the following scenario. A married couple with two kids is facing difficulties. To "fix" their marriage, they decide to have a third kid. Still marital problems. Then they decide to have a fourth kid (age difference between 1st and 4th kid is 10 years, fwiw). Still marital problems. They end up deciding to divorce.
I find this to be rather stupid and, to some degree, selfish. Why bring new kids to a bad family situation? Am I missing something? |
Yes, stupid, immature, and bound to fail.
Yes. That is all.
Yes, and it's also stupid to stay together "for the sake of the children".
I cannot fathom how having more kids would HELP a marriage. Kids add so much stress to a marriage.
Is this a joke? If you're marriage is already shakey, then HELL NO to more kids!
Yes, stupid. I don't know where this adage came from (1950s?) but it is just wrong. Another child compounds the stress in the already unstable family
|
That is one of the more terrible ideas I have read on this site.
|
Do you really need a response?
Good grief - NO!
^To clarify - Good Grief - No! Do not have more kids.
Stupid and irresponsible.
HOrrible idea.
Beyond stupid. As Ron White says....
Yes, of course. BUt it's also none of your business if it isn't your marriage.
