The Difference between men and women

Since 6 am this morning, I have:

Made breakfast, played with DS, shoveled a path to the car with DS, had a snowball throwing contest with DS, worked for an hour while supervising DS, done laundry, watched the Olympics and made lunch.

DH has:

Slept.

+1 and you chose to marry such a man.

Please go away OP. You're giving us women a bad name as whiny, bitchy lovers of pissing contests.

How about a little context? Does he normally work? Normally work long hours? Was there a reason you couldn't wake him later than usual, yet early enough to still do some shoveling? Or are you just here to man bash?

My husband got up with our daughter, made her breakfast, and then went into the home office to work. I slept in and then got up and made lunch and now my husband is out clearing the driveway. At some point, I will get out my files and do some work. It's all in who you pick.

My husband has taken the kids out to play twice, gone sledding, built snowmen, shoveled (ours and neighbor's driveways), cleared some cars. He made lots of coffee and lunch. He's awesome.

I haven't done anything today besides work on my computer while sitting on the couch. I love playing with kids in the snow; I'm just slow today...

I totally understand your need to vent. My husband sleeps till noon every weekend. Someone has to get up with the kids so that someone is me.

Good for you for getting outside and letting your ds play in the snow. When he grows up he'll remember the parent who was there.
