Industrial strength kitty litter?

Any ideas for a litter box for a cat with frequent and voluminous urination? Our cat drinks and pees like crazy and we now have to dump
out the whole pan every 3 days. Until a year ago, we only had to dump it once a week. He's been to the vet. No
diabetes. If anything it is kidney issues but his only symptom right now is the drinking and peeing. Any ideas on
how to make the litter pan last more than 3 days? What about those washable crystals?

You don't change every day? Doesn't it smell?

ExquisiCat wheat scoopable litter. Best clumping litter I've tried. I scoop every day and dump the entire box and clean it once a week.

I use EverFresh extra strength. I have two cats with four litter boxes. I only scoop once a week and there is no smell what-so-ever.
