2009-2010 School start dates

Crazy to be thinking about this now, but... does anyone know what week most private schools will start for pre-k/k next year (particularly concord hill, wis and primary day)? We are trying to book a week away with friends at the end of the summer and don't want to schedule something the first week of school (not knowing where our DS will end up). Labor day isn't until September 7 this year so I wasn't sure if schools might start before then. I can obviously ask the schools themselves, but they are all closed this week and my friends want to book something soon. Thanks in advance for any info.

Sidwell just posted their calendar. They start the 8th, with orientation for older kids the end of the previous week.

Go online and look at their calendars from 08-09 or call the schools.

I think the calendars are pretty similar from year to year. Perhaps this link will be helpful:

I would keep in mind also, that many of these schools have orientations/small group visits/home visits from teachers, the week PRIOR to school actually starting.

Primary Day always starts the Wednesday after Labor Day.
