Lancaster County Market (Germantown) - restaurant

Ugh, the worst tasting diner food one could ever eat.

We are long time customers regularly picking up cakes, cheeses, produce, meats, juices etc. Today, kids and I decided to have lunch there.

I was expecting some Amish goodness...but the hot dogs and burgers were below average. It was like bad cafeteria food. Everything they served was smelling of rancid grease. There was no seasoning in the burger and it was falling apart, unseasoned, and half raw (after telling them that I wanted my burger well done).Soggy, greasy, unsalted onion rings. Tons of salt on the dogs and slathered with so much out of the bottle cheese.

Maybe we should have ordered something else? Poor quality food. I saw another customer send their sandwich back.

Something about that restaurant scares me, I've always wondered what the food would be like. I guess I will continue to avoid it! I do like the pastries, pretzels etc at the stand alone sections.

Continue to be scared. It was really bad. I mean that I am the least fussy eater ...but it was BAD.

I wish I could have ordered the fried chicken meal from the other vendor...or the pretzel place...anything but that restaurant.

Go for the fried chicken...the lines are very long for a good reason! Yummy!!!

I ate there years ago and it was bad then. Never went back.
