Eastern and science

My daughter has loved Eastern and I have been really happy with the Humanities classes (and the great life-long friends she has made!). Her particular science teachers have ranged from pretty good to mediocre. We are returning to our home W. high school. I am curious if other children making this return have found large gaps in their science knowledge and how they have filled those gaps.

The home middle schools that feed into our W. have generally strong academics across the board (though I think Eastern's humanities are stronger and Takoma's math/science is stronger).

We will miss Eastern but can't beat the 2 minute commute!
