Job Hunting and Selling House

DH is job hunting and we plan to sell the house if necessary to stay afloat (we're not attached to it anyways).
DS is going into K.
We currently live in ward 4.
What would you do? Move to MCPS? To the JKLM district?

i don't know why this was moved to job hunting. the issue here isn't job hunting. the question is about schooling and where i should move to get the best education for my child. jeff can you please move it back?

now back to the question- should i do DCPS lottery? or just move to where i want him to attend?

I don't understand why any of the information you provided about yourself is relevant to where you should live. Are you just asking where people have personally chosen to live? I live in "JKLM" and don't plan to move while my child is in elementary. I probably will move before he is in high school, so I guess if I were buying a new house I would move to MCPS if I were uncomfortable being in a house for only 8 years.
