This week I had to address some poor work performance with one of my employees. Within 24 hours I was vomiting nonstop and have the worst case of strep that my doc has seen in a long time.

No. If you are actually sick, odds are that you got sick beforehand and the symptoms simply hadn't manifested or, perhaps the stress of having to deal with the employee is manifesting in your stomach upset.

I really want to believe in voodoo but your post makes it really hard to. You got sick just like a lot of other people. Maybe the stress of dealing with your employees made it worse. Too bad -- voodoo is interesting. Sigh.
