Anyone's kid considering the engineering magnet at Wheaton?

DC got accepted to two magnets and one is this program. He is very interested in it -- the curriculum looks really challenging and interesting, there are opportunities to take college classes, they will have a brand new school next year, etc.

I am well aware of the issues at Wheaton generally, but DC has been in a Silver Spring school and isn't fazed by that.

I just don't know ANYONE whose kid applied here and would love to hear from someone else who's considering it!
