PA Pocons -Driving on Thursday afternoon - which route is best 95, 81 or 83?

Headed to the Poconos, near jack frost ski resort on Thursday afternoon. Google maps gives me three options..all are about the same amount time. They are 95, 81 thru Harrisburg or 83 thru York. Which would you recommend?

I am from near there- we do not ever take 95 to visit my parents, I would advise against it b/c there is always traffic plus all of the tolls. We take 81 through Harrisburg, but my parents sometimes do 83 through York when they come down to visit. Probably no difference between the two.

Depends on the weather - I would not do 81/83 in bad weathEr you are going right through the mountains and the exits are spread out and not much by way of stops. We used to go that way but found it took longer so we always go up 95/476. We do watch the traffic and know the work arounds if needed. I would follow pen dot on twitter if you have it.

270 to 15 to the PA Tpke East for two exits (you get on the Tpke just pass Dillsburg) to 83 to 81. Fastest way to get there.
