The folks on the travel forum are largely COVID minimizers. I appreciate the reality check comments. |
Ugh - I got "sweetie" in response to a post the other day. Glad I'm not the only one, but wish this person would go get some anger management therapy. |
I'm guilty of the third one. Sorry! I'll stop. It wasn't me that did this a few pages back in this thread, though. |
LOL. 25 pages in 2 days. Lots of feelings here. |

^Right! As a single/childfree poster here, I’ve learned: We childfree peeps cannot post in child-related sub forums, and parents of singletons can only advise other singleton parents. Parents of multiples have free reign. 😅😅😅 DCUM is hilarious. |
The women who feel the need to brag about their husbands on threads where the OP is overwhelmed by working full time and doing 90% or more of household and kid related chores and asking for advice. People will try to sympathize by making statements stereotyping gender (I.e. women tend to do more) and other, annoying posters will feel the need to brag about their unicorn husbands who are super high earners (750k +) but also do 50% or more at home/with the kids plus treat their (invariably SAHM or part time working) wives like queens and who live by the adage “happy wife, happy life.”
I think most of them are making it up just to provoke people. |
Posters who hate on Disney and/or cruises yet have never actually been to Disney or on a cruise.
Full disclosure: I also can’t stand posters who have BTDT yet criticize people who enjoy those kinds of trips. I find it equally befuddling and amusing when Suzy reflects on their one trip to Disney so little Larla could experience it and then disses everyone who actually enjoys Disney followed by a laundry list of all the “better” trips they’ve taken to Europe, Asia or the Moon. Those posters are even worse than the snobs who have simply never been. And, even worse: the posters who throw down over Cape Cod vs OBX. Their fights make the SAHM/WOHM mommy wars look tame. |
Oh, no, you misunderstand! DCUM has complaints about literally everyone! I'm a parent of a singleton and even I am well aware that parents of multiples-- and ESPECIALLY more than two-- get dumped on constantly. We're all terrible human beings! No one is good enough! |
Ha! Fair enough. 😆😆 I guess I’ll wander my single, childfree self over to the parenting boards to read up. (I hope the board gatekeeper posters’ heads explode.) |
It’s a common opinion among jerks who view their children as little dolls to display. I’m in the “UMC professional” group and I would never tell my kindergartner that he can’t wear a Spider-Man shirt bc OMG what would Muffy think?! They’re young for such a short time. There is plenty of time to wear Polo and boring khakis. |
The poster who starts all comments with 'Ugh' sounds so childish and dim-waited. |
"How do you not understand?" |
dim-witted I'd put the "sheesh" and the "good grief" posters in this category. |
The one who always says breastfeeding benefits don't exist beyond the first 6 weeks. |
