He's a shock jock. He's a media bully and he gets a lot of fame and money from doing so. He revels in being notoriety and fame. He's trying to fill a hole created when Rush Limbaugh passed. |
| Are his shows still broadcasting hate? |

+1 Those families have been through hell for years and still remain strong. They are incredibly admirable and testaments to the human spirit. I hope they finally can have some peace (or whatever that might look like for them). |

After more than a year fighting Alex Jones for the money they’re owed, Sandy Hook families are closing in on a bankruptcy settlement with Alex Jones.

People smarter than me are predicting letting Jones on X will be the downfall of Musk owning Xitter. I really hope so. |
Musk isn’t just letting him back on, Jones has launched an exclusive show there. |
And he did it on the literal anniversary of Sandy Hook. Vile. |
What is wrong with both of them? Does Jones drive a Tesla? |

Alex Jones caused subsequent deaths. He should be in prison. Conspiracy theories arose from his many Infowar broadcast guests who he called “first amendment heroes.” One of them, Wolfgang Halbig, a retired school security expert joined camera crews from Infowars, demanding the autopsies of Sandy Hook victims be turned over to him and bodies exhumed. Halbig spread false theories that Avielle Richman was living under another name in Newtown as a child he repeatedly identified online.
Alex Jones tormented Jeremy Richman, who was a former a neuroscientist developing therapeutic mechanisms for Alzheimer’s disease. After his daughter’s death he and his wife created a foundation to study the neuroscience of violence, to fund research that looked at the risk factors that led to it and the compassionate factors that led away from it, “so that other people might not suffer as we were suffering”. Jeremy committed suicide. Alex Jones then blasted a new conspiracy, doubting Jeremy Richman’s suicide – “We have no idea whether [Richman] was even murdered at this point. Why would some anti-gun guy do this?” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/mar/31/sandy-hook-shooting-suicide-parents-fake-news-conspiracy |
I must be living under a rock. I've never heard it called Xitter, but that's so perfect, since Musk is definitely driving the social media platform into the Xitter. |
I didn't realize this and that just sealed the deal on me deleting twitter. That's abhorrent. |
