Yup. Wonder how some of the Texas reps are feeling about the redistricting now. The GOP didn’t want to do it but Trump grabbed them by the short and curlies and they bent the knee. And this was before yesterday’s results. Probably feeling pretty queasy right now as they sit at home getting paid to do nothing.

From what I’ve read, a lot of that TX gerrymandering was built on the premise that Latino voters who went for Trump in 2024 will go for the GOP house candidates in the 2026. That’s a mighty shaky foundation now after we’ve seen Latino shifts of 30 points in many places last night.

Special election in far upstate New York, part of Elise Stefanik’s district. State Assembly district 115. Includes Plattsburgh if anyone besides me knows where that is. Rural AF.

Trump won this area by two points. Democrat Michael Cashman just won it by five.

It’s the youth turning out to vote in large numbers- Spanberger was 70% under 30 and Mamdani was 80% under 30…they are tired of the old orange man! Don’t let the far right convince you that the youth are not ready to fight for democracy!

After Trump’s major losses yesterday, the White House says it’s preparing executive orders aimed at changing how U.S. elections are run, citing so-called “blatant fraud” as the reason. It’s clear they just can’t accept losing.
Fun to see them rattled.
Of course, these EOs are just fancy memos, they mean nothing.

And the youth are coming for Do Nothing Dems this primary season! They are remaking the Democratic Party into a party who will fight for working people and who dares to dream.
