I didn't say she had to put him in charge of policy but she could have talked to the guy and kept him under her wing at least until after the election |
Because she has good judgment and he’s insane. I love her and I would have looked askance if they had even taken the meeting. |
+1 or if she had accepted his endorsement. Agree she showed good judgment in steering clear. The other side is the party of weirdos and loons. |
What’s his point that he tried to run as a Democrat about? Other candidates ran against Biden in the Democratic primary, he certainly could have done so if he wanted. He willingly switched to an independent bid instead. |
He's toxic. His supporters are -- of course -- tempted to act as if his support is a net gain. They aren't taking into account the full context. Sure, some (or even many, maybe?) of his supporters might go to a candidate RFK Jr supports, if he drops out. But that support carries some pretty whiffy overtones and will push people away, too. And he is really fringe, and his baggage is really toxic. The hardest part of all of this for the GOP is that their candidates are, well, weird. Off-putting. Having them in front of microphones and cameras isn't helping. They dig themselves deeper. You can't threaten Democrats with getting ahead when all the Democrats really want is for your candidates to have MORE airtime, MORE exposure -- to do the work for them. The problem is with your candidates, not with whether they have enough exposure. The call is coming from inside the house. |
Instead, she sicked her law-dogs on the guy and sued him in every state. Real nice. Nice way to treat a fellow democrat. And now he is the terrible one?!? |
Because Harris is not cuckoo bananas. |
Sore loser. |
+1 To paraphrase a once-great patriarch, these are not serious people. |
Even talking to him is a liability. He is truly insane. |
