Yeah. Since people only commute 3x week, they tolerate driving more and shun transit. Basically some days we have as much as 50% pre pandemic occupancy but with worse traffic because 90% now drive.

We (fed) went through a hiring for a highly skilled position (Ph.D. plus substantial experience) and found a great candidate who took the job. Then HR said it would have to be in person. They quit before they arrived.

Eventually they won’t find a better schedule anyway if all the agencies don’t hire like that.

Says someone who doesn't take public transport. It's definitely coming back to life. I personally ride the MARC train and in the past two months, it has doubled in ridership. Definitely beats sitting on 270.
