chinese new year - do restaurants do anything the celebrate the holiday?

| I would love to go down to chinatown for the parade on Sunday, but due to other events going on we need to stick close to home - I wondered if regular chinese restaurants do anything "special" for chinese new year - so, if we go to our local Bethesda chinese restaurant for dinner on Sunday night, will we get any of the flavor of the holiday? I realize today is actually the chinese new year, by the way, but the parade is Sunday. Thanks. |

| Yes -- most have a special chinese dishes/menus. Call your favorite chinese joint to ask. |
