Looking for Chinese tutor for three 8th graders

Anonymous
My son is taking Chinese 2A in middle school. It was a great opportunity, and he has learned, but with fewer kids interested in Chinese, the class is now split between the first year and second year students, that the teacher must manage between. Needless to say, this is not the best arrangement for a group of 11-13 year olds. My goal is that he learn the language. Three students are looking for someone who might meet with them once a week and go over in the smaller group the lessons of the week. They have a textbook and work book, but it seems as if they rely more heavily on worksheets, so those would be the materials for the course.

The school is Parkland, in Aspen Hill. The students could probably meet somewhere in the Rockville/Silver Spring area.

Please contact me at sheilafrancine@hotmail.com or 301 821 5689. Thanks.

There are several Chinese schools operated by recent immigrants from China/Taiwan. They normally meet on Saturday afternoon 2-5.

E.g. this one in Rockville
