Hi All--
We just moved our son out of the infant bucket and into the Roundabout. This morning we realized that we don't have a good solution to keeping the sun out of his eyes, since this new carseat doesn't have a visor. What do others do? Decals on the windows, right? But, can you put those shades on the back windows too? Our boy rides out to day care with dad in Fairfax and so the sun is in his eyes all the way out in the morning. HELP! Jennifer |
We used a mesh sun glare shield (from Buy Buy Baby). It helps reduce the glare, but doesn't eliminate it. The mesh allows the driver to still see what is going on behind him. It has suction cups so it is easy to move/remove. The one we had spanned almost the full length of the back window. If you are willing to travel to Bethesda, I'll give you mine since we don't use it anymore. |
I work in Bethesda and would love to have your old mesh visor!! Thanks so much. How do I reach you? My email is jennifer.lynott@gmail.com.

Hi - I just sent you an email. |
When I went to have my car seat inspected, they took out all the window mesh visors, saying they were dangerous in the event of an accident. They recommended the decal type window darkening shades--something that would not become a projectile in an accident. |
FWIW, I had my car seat inspected in Alexandria, and the man told me the something similar. |
