I've always been a once or at most twice a week guy. The woman's insatiable! She'd like it at least 4 X a week. I also feel a bit uncomfortable because she's clearly more experienced that I am and likes kinkier stuff.

Because she doesn't want sex. Evolution has played a very cruel joke on men. I chalk up all the sex 4-5 times a week posters here to a vocal minority while the silent majority has sex very seldom. I'm not a bad husband. I provide for the family, do work around the house, take care of myself, active in the kids' lives and have a great relationship with DW. Except the sex. I try to talk about it. She says she doesn't want to talk. Knows we need to have more sex and will try. Then it doesn't happen. Puts me in a real shitty place.

I'm DW and have the opposite problem - dh has no libido whatsoever but he is otherwise a good husband and dad. How did it happen that so many of us have matched up with someone with different expectations on sex? Why aren't the high drive women with the high drive men, and vice versa? I love my dh but I'm only early 30s and can't imagine the rest of my marriage like this. It just sucks.

10:50 here. I got married for all the right reasons. DW is my best friend, beautiful, and we share values, sense of humor, etc. Asking her to marry was the easiest decision of my life. The sex before we married was enough, but barely. I never imagined that it would trail off like it did, though. I think she changed after kids, gained weight and no longer liked her body, even though I still love it.

But for PP, it's odd for a guy to have low libido--or no libido as you say. My first thought is always that he might be gay. Regardless of the reason, sorry for your situation. It really does suck. I want to scream and vent to my DW, but that would be one way to ensure that I didn't get sex. So I have to just bottle it up. That's not easy.

I always worry he is gay or asexual, but I really don't think he's gay. There are no signs whatsoever that point to that. He has low testosterone but is trying to get that fixed, but so far no success

At least he's trying. That's a good step. DW wants to want to have sex. She just doesn't want to have sex. If she could take a pill or get a shot that made her want to want to have sex, I'm sure she would do it in a heartbeat.

I meant that if she could take a pill to make her want sex, she'd do it pronto.

DH works 90 hours a week. He is really too tired and I understand that.

This may be random or off base, but the form of birth control might alter a woman's libido? Hormonal aspects for sure, but for the women out there:

Does worry about unwanted pregnancy or maybe STD suppresses your desire?

Off the label Viagra use. Not many people know about this.

Wife is not interested anymore. At first she tried to finger out what was wrong with herself, then she claimed all her friends hate sex.

Interesting idea, but we use condoms, so that's not is. Not STD's.
