For academic programs - check out Montgomery College summer classes and camps for youth. Also Montgomery County Recreation Department summer camps (specialty).

There are writing and math camps that are run by private companies - the same companies that offer camps for Magnet preps and SAT prep. Then there is Komodo math etc.
