Repeated dose of antibiotic

| My DS had strep and was prescribed Amoxicillin. He finished it about 6 days ago. Today, I took him to the ER for an ear infection and he was prescribed the same meds. Is it Ok to give it to him again? |

| Yes but I would think they would have stepped it up like an augmentin since this is so close in time? Ask your ped |

| When the course is finished give DC a course of probiotics and Sachromyces Boulardii (may have the spelling wrong bu its close) to balance out the stomach flora. |
