Summer Game Institute at GMU for older kids

Anyone with experiences with these programs? Looks pricey but instructors are all college professors.

We were looking at it, but I have a 10 year old who is very interested in coding (teaching himself now, but I'd like for him to get some instruction), but couldn't care less about game creation (story lines, graphics, etc).

Everything I can find for his age group is game creation.

Have you tried TIC Camp?

Thanks, but those are 2 week sessions and not as convenient location-wise for us. Looking for feedback on anyone who has attended one of the GMU camps. We went to an Infamous Robotics class at GMU last year but it wasn't run by the university, but an outside group (excellent, by the way).
