Pregnancy Support Group

My name is Karen Miller and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am planning to start a pregnancy support group in Silver Spring, MD beginning at the end of January or beginning of February. It will be located in Silver Spring on a weeknight evening from 7:30-9 pm. I am still finalizing the day and location. It will be for approximately 10 women who would like to come together to discuss the highs and lows of pregnancy, prepare emotionally for motherhood, and talk about the changes in relationships with husbands, family, etc. All participants will be encouraged to exchange contact information so that the connections made during preganancy will give support systems for those first months of parenthood!
