| My son is trying to make Chinese Dumplings for a school fundraiser. His first shot came out very bland (the filling). Does anyone have a recipe to share..preferably one without a large number of items that I will likely never use again (like the one in the WaPo this week). Thanks. |

1/3 of chopped chinese cabbage, 2/3 of best quality pork you could find (ground w/ some fat), salt, pepper, chopped scallion, soy sauce to taste, sesame oil if allergy is not a concern.
that's all there is. the pork and the cabbage are the sources of the flavor, plus some soy sauce. you can do ground beef but use more scallion and less cabbage. we're making them Thur night. good luck! |
