Angelus academy parents?

Does anyone send their children to Angelus? Wondering where the majority of families live, if they generally attend the same parish, etc. We are considering the school for preschool, with the intention of sending our kids there for the rest of elementary.

Angelus Academy has a fabulous preschool program.

It breaks into two parts: the traditional preschool (structured play based with some pre-K learning activities) and the Atrium (Montessori, pre-school appropriate catechism)

The teachers and aides are nurturing and kind. I can't say enough good things about them.

The Atrium does a wonderful job teaching age appropriate Catholic faith. It is warm and loving and gentle in its approach.

We only attended for preschool as we had kids in two other fcps public schools and could not make the times work to keep the third child at Angeles, but we did consider it.

The families are kind, the children well-behaved. Elementary classes are small, and from what I could see from the hallways, orderly, age appropriate learning was occurring. There is a peaceful energy throughout the school.

I believe that most of the families are from St. Raymond's parish and reside in the general West Springfield-Lorton area. St. Raymonds does not have an official school attached to it so they have sort of adopted Angeles Academy.

I highly recommend it for anyone searching for a religious based preschool. If you are a Catholic family interested in a nurturing and traditional Catholic school, then I would recommend their elementary school as well.

Visit it and see.
