S/O: Are high schools and middle schools using the internet to keep kids learning during this break?

My high school child has been getting assignments throughout this snow break and has been doing them every day. The teachers are really using the internet so that the classes are not much behind, if at all, when they go back. Same thing happened during Snowmagedden when my child was in middle school. Are most of the teachers sending out assignments during this time?

I am not sending assignments. Only about half my roster has reliable internet access.

My DD's 3rd grade teacher sent a few emails with sites related to what they're learning, as well as the link to their math textbook and the specific content they are learning. Not required though.
