Check Macy's, JC Penney's, Overstock.com. Online selections are far better than in the stores.

Bought at JC Penney. It's warm and the color matches. Least public room in our home so I have no need for expensive decor.

Pottery Barn sells simple and plain duvet covers. We like ours.

It's not that hard to make. I went to G Street and bought the material. Cut it to side, pieced the pattern together and sewed it together. Took at 2 days in between of work and the kids activities.

My mom got a beautiful one made to order by an Amish quilter. (she got a card at a quilt sale, then talked to the woman about what pattern she'd like, and in what colors.) It was not cheap, and complicated (First got sent one that was the wrong size!) And she of course had to wait about a year for it.

But she ended up with a beautiful bedspread!
